I. Why are PE-RT pipes so highly recommended now? These points really resonated with me.
My previous understanding of underfloor heating pipes was limited to "as long as it heats up, that's enough." It wasn't until I read Jianlong's information that I understood: PE-RT (heat-resistant polyethylene) pipes are truly the "all-rounder" of underfloor heating.
Jianlong's pipes are manufactured according to GB/T28799.2-2020 standards, with a temperature resistance of up to 92℃ and a designed service life of 50 years—basically covering the long-term use of a house. Moreover, it perfectly avoids the shortcomings of traditional pipes: unlike PE-X pipes, which cannot be repaired by heat fusion after damage and are difficult to recycle; it also avoids the problems of insufficient high-temperature resistance and short service life of ordinary PPR pipes; it can be reused after installation, balancing environmental protection and practicality, making it one of the mainstream choices for underfloor heating pipes today.
II. How comfortable is underfloor heating with PE-RT pipes?
Before installation, my biggest worry was "dryness from underfloor heating and a hot head with cold feet," but Jianlong's radiant floor heating system completely solved all these problems:
Health: Say Goodbye to "Air Conditioning-like Dryness"
Underfloor heating dissipates heat evenly through the floor, unlike air conditioning which accelerates airflow—reducing indoor moisture evaporation, maintaining comfortable humidity, and preventing respiratory dryness even after prolonged use.
Comfort: Precisely Targeting the "Warm Feet, Cool Head" Needle
Heat is transferred upwards from the floor, resulting in a uniform surface temperature and a "warm below, cool above" room temperature distribution—meeting the need for "warm feet first," eliminating the awkward situation of "hot head, cold feet."
Hygiene: Finally, Less "Dust Worry" at Home
The windless heating method doesn't stir up indoor dust like radiators. As someone with rhinitis, I have to wipe tables and sweep floors much less frequently in winter, making it more friendly to people with respiratory sensitivities.
Energy Saving: The savings can be substantial. Supports individual room metering and zoned temperature control—my living room is usually set to 22℃, and the unoccupied bedroom is set to 18℃. Heat is concentrated in the active areas, effectively reducing energy consumption compared to traditional heating systems.
III. Additional Benefit: What is EVOH Oxygen Barrier Pipe?
Jianlong also offers PE-RT EVOH oxygen barrier pipe, featuring a three-layer structure—the middle oxygen barrier layer prevents oxygen from entering the pipes, reducing the probability of internal scale formation and component corrosion, further extending the lifespan of the underfloor heating system.
Finally, I would like to say that the choice of pipe material plays a significant role in the overall experience of underfloor heating. The performance and actual user experience of Jianlong's PE-RT pipe are indeed the type that "won't disappoint after installation".
