PVC resin is the basis of pipes, but pure PVC has poor processing performance and insufficient toughness. During the formulation stage, various additives such as stabilizers, plasticizers, lubricants, etc. need to be added. Stabilizers can effectively capture the hydrogen chloride produced by PVC degradation, inhibit aging and decomposition, and improve corrosion resistance; the addition of plasticizers can reduce the intermolecular forces, giving the pipes good flexibility and impact toughness; lubricants can improve material fluidity, reduce friction during processing, and prevent high-temperature decomposition from affecting performance. The scientific ratio of various additives is the first key step to achieve the performance standards of pipes.

Entering the production and molding stage, the high-speed mixer first fully mixes the PVC resin and the additives to make a uniform dry blend. Subsequently, the dry blend enters the extruder and, driven by the screw, undergoes the processes of conveying, compression, melting, and homogenization. The temperature control of the extruder is very important. The temperature of different sections needs to be set accurately to ensure that the material is fully plasticized without decomposition. The design and temperature regulation of the mold determine the shape, size and surface quality of the pipe. A reasonable mold structure allows the material to be extruded evenly, avoids stress concentration and improves overall toughness.

The extruded pipe needs to be quickly cooled and shaped, and the surface of the pipe is quickly solidified and the internal structure is stable through the vacuum sizing sleeve and cooling water tank. Precise cooling speed and water temperature control can reduce internal stress in the pipe and further enhance toughness and corrosion resistance. After traction, cutting and other processes, the finished PVC drainage pipe must also undergo strict performance tests, such as tensile strength, Vicat softening temperature, drop hammer impact test, etc., to ensure that each pipe meets high standards.
