Project Background:
With the rapid urbanization of island countries in Southeast Asia, their original water supply pipelines, mostly made of metal, have suffered severe aging and corrosion due to the erosion of sea breeze and humid environments. Frequent water leaks not only cause massive water waste but also affect residents' normal water use. To address this issue, a municipal water supply pipeline renovation project was launched, planning to replace old metal pipelines with new plastic pipes.
Solutions:
Jianlong Plastics, with its professional technology and rich experience in the plastic pipeline field, customized DN600 HDPE (high - density polyethylene) water supply pipes for this project. Made from high - quality raw materials, these pipes exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and environmental stress crack resistance, capable of withstanding the local complex marine climate and soil conditions.
Aiming at the frequent typhoon attacks in the region, Jianlong Plastics optimized the impact resistance design of the pipes to enable them to withstand the external forces caused by strong winds. Meanwhile, advanced electrofusion connection technology was adopted to ensure the tightness and reliability of pipe connections, reducing the risk of water leakage at interfaces.
