In August 2024, a well-known Thai guesthouse operator found us on our factory's social media and studied our company website. The customer was preparing a heating system for their new guesthouse cluster, and their core demands directly addressed their pain points: heating in the cold season, auxiliary cooling in the summer, compatibility with millimeter-level construction, and no cumbersome certification processes.
During the communication, the customer revealed key background information: Thailand's cold season is from November to February of the following year, and in high-altitude areas like Chiang Mai, the lowest temperature can reach 12℃, with a diurnal temperature difference exceeding 10℃. In previous years, using air conditioners for heating was not only dry but also resulted in uneven temperatures due to the guesthouses' predominantly wooden structures; more importantly, high-end tourists have a strong demand for the comfortable experience of "walking barefoot on underfloor heating," which has become a key factor in differentiating guesthouses from competitors. Our PE-RT pipes happened to be suitable for small-scale guesthouse construction and compatible with both heating and cooling systems, immediately impressing the customer.

After initial communication and understanding of our factory's capabilities, the client came to us with guesthouse blueprints and presented three core requirements:
• Dual heating and cooling: Winter heating water temperature of 45℃-50℃, and summer cooling water temperature of 20℃ (to achieve draft-free cooling in conjunction with a heat pump system), avoiding the discomfort of direct air conditioning;
• Moisture and corrosion resistance: Guesthouses are often located near mountains and water, with air humidity frequently exceeding 85%. The pipes needed to be resistant to humidity and corrosion, with no scaling on the inner walls (to prevent bacterial growth and maintain water quality);
• Concealed and aesthetically pleasing: Guest rooms are only 25-35㎡, so the pipes needed to be flexible enough to conform to irregularly shaped floors (such as circular bed bases and corner seating areas), minimizing construction marks.
We tailored a solution specifically for the guesthouse scenario:
• Technical Department: We adopted a "wide-temperature range formula," allowing the PE-RT pipes to operate stably between 20℃ (cooling) and 50℃ (heating). They passed a 1500-hour humid heat cycle test (temperature 20℃-50℃, humidity 90%), and an antibacterial layer was added to the inner wall to address scaling issues in humid environments;
• Engineering Department: We provided a "Guesthouse-Specific Construction Guide," designing a thin-walled coil system for wooden floor bases, with a thickness of only 3cm, which does not affect ceiling height and ensures even heat distribution.

During production, we provided weekly updates with a "Guesthouse-Specific Progress Chart," indicating the quantity of pipes stocked for each guest room and providing inspection videos. After 25 days, 42,000 meters of pipes were delivered via express shipping, clearing customs in just one day, arriving 3 days earlier than the client expected.
During the construction phase, the local construction team reported: "The pipes are perfect for guesthouses. The circular bed base piping was formed in one piece without needing elbows, saving 40% of the labor time compared to the steel pipes we used before." During the trial operation in the off-season, we provided remote guidance and debugging: the heating water temperature was set to 45℃, and the floor temperature in the guest rooms was kept stable at 24℃. Guests reported that "walking barefoot on the floor feels like walking on warm sunshine, much more comfortable than air conditioning." In the summer, we switched to the floor cooling mode, with the water temperature at 20℃. There was no condensation on the floor, and guests in the public rest area said that "there is no air conditioning, but it is cool all over."
After six months of operation, the client provided data: the occupancy rate of guest rooms with underfloor heating was 32% higher than that of the old guesthouse, and the "heating experience" received a 96% positive rating from tourists. Furthermore, the PE-RT pipe system's monthly energy consumption was only 60% of that of air conditioning heating.
